Institution before personality
SPP is intended to survive founders and individual leaders. The Party's permanent identity comes from its charter, constitution, membership, institutions, policy tradition and leadership school.
A genuinely national party
The Party rejects ethnic ownership of political organisations. Every Kenyan member must be able to regard SPP as equally theirs, whether they are from Turkana, Mombasa, Bungoma, Kisii, Nairobi, Garissa, Nyeri or any other part of the Republic.
Leadership as temporary public trust
Founders receive historical recognition but no permanent superior political rights. Leadership must rotate through democratic rules, term limits and transparent succession.
